VINCE'S JOURNEY OF HOPE

In 1987, Bruce Rogers made a journey across the United States in order to create more awareness of PUSH America's mission.  His trek has inspired the event that we know now as the Journey of Hope.  Three routes stretch across over 32 states from San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA coming together in Washington, D.C. 

After riding an average of 75 miles a day, the cyclists participate in "friendship visits" with local community organizations that support people with disabilities, participating in educational puppet shows,  wheelchair basketball, and other fun activities.  Team members raise over $500,000 each year for projects that support those with disabilities.

 The Journey of Hope will be one of the most incredible and fullfilling experiences of my life.
